Description
Nemo's technology neutralizes the threat.
This is my take on another classic 20,000 Leagues under the Sea image. One example is an original 19th century illustration showing Nemo rescuing an Indian skin-diving oyster fisherman from a shark. Another was the cover for the Walt Disney comic book published in the 1950s. In both of these the weapon is a knife (Nemo's daughter wields her knife in my image) but I've had Nemo use his pneumatic rifle. In the novel, the rifle uses high pressure air to propel a glass ball that releases an electric charge on impact. I found that difficult to show in a static image, so my render has a somewhat less practical electric discharge from the rifle.
Nemo and his daughter wear the Nautilus variant of the Deep Sea Diver outfit. The environment is Nemo's Hunting Ground and the wreck is the Shipwreck version of the Point Nemo Cutter. The shark (this time) is the Great White from DAZ. A well-camouflaged lion fish in the foreground is from DAZ
The scene was composed and rendered in Poser Pro 2014, in layers to facilitate adding some depth, and composited in Corel Photo-Paint.
