This is a bit of an update. From humble beginnings my photography is steadily improving.I started out with a Kodak point and shoot camera and progressed to a Sony A-200 Digital SLR camera.Other equipment that i currently have is the following: Tamron 70-300mm lens. We have these also growing in Australia, nearby our coastal beaches, we call them 'Pigface' ... I have even one of those in my garden - Carpobrutus rossii, commonly known as pigface, ice plant, and Hottentot plant, is a genus of ground-creeping plants with succulent leaves and large daisy-like flowers. thank you for sharing this specimen, it's a gorgeous macro ...
