Description
Capture 9/28/15 @ 7:45 am, in front of my condominium complex.
Where oh where did this big guy drop in from? There hasn't been enough rain in the entire state to generate the mud this vehicle encountered. Although it carries California license plates, it probably arrived from out of the state after a hard go-for-broke drive. And, strange that the tires/tyres are so clean. On second thought, maybe that's not mud at all but from a storm of wet cement.
ZOOM at all costs.
Arrivederci.

I also wonder what happened with this car. Should it be wet cement, then it is not good for the car paint. Excellent shots, fantastic details.

Well seen and great captures, Harry. I agree with you... with the vehicle so muddy, one has to wonder at the clean tires!

just after I saw this image the first time, I read about rains in California which caused massive mudslides. But I don't think this is from that, as I think this was posted just before that. (Several writers have said that the coming rains from el niƱo could cause some major mudslides. I hope it doesn't hit too hard---though I do hope you get rain.) The first and last shots, here, are wonderfully composed---the last is a very dramatic shot, with dramatic angle and wonderful flares on top. It's an upload by itself. But they're all well done, showing us the array of patterns this mud-blast left all over this car. Number three is the most dramatic of the bunch: It's amazing how many splatters there are on this side of the car: Maybe it was from one of those construction sites you often photograph. Nice single leaf there too (in number 3)---nice contrast! And number two has a sweet tree reflection in the back window. Fascinating shots, with 3 and 4 being very dramatic, and 1 being a solidly composed street shot all by itself. Good eye on you, to capture this---it's the only car around with all that mud on it: Everything else around it is so clean! Leave it to you to find these things and make art of them for us...
