It's been a long while since I posted anything here. Trying to force myself to be creative again. I've been working on a few things, but that doesn't mean much. I never finish anything these days. Just thought I'd post a small example of some of the stuff I've been working on. This is a small fighter craft, with lots of work yet to go. Inspired by Star Citizen, and Elite: Dangerous--if you haven't heard about them, are a sci-fi nut, and love the idea of flying your own ship from the cockpit, check them out. I've got a number of ships in the works, from large carriers/capital ships, to industrial frigates and corvettes, to small fighters, and even a military cruiser. All of which have ridiculous amounts of work to go before I'll even consider showing them to the public. The background is from NASA, stitched together images of our milky way galaxy. Modeling and render in Blender. It has thrusters for complete 6 dof. Forward and reverse thrusters of equal power, maneuvering thrusters smaller. It's a single seater light fighter, with only two hard-points for weapons. Hope you enjoy. And yup, that's Mike sitting in the cockpit.
