Description
Tensions between the air-breathing Surfacers and the amphibious Dwellers were at an all-time high. After weeks of rumors, a gathering of all the Dweller nations was announced. The time had come for a unified response against the Surfacers.
Summer, a young Dweller lady, knew that a lot of the surface people had no love for her kind. She ran into one such group trying to retrieve artifacts from Frogkin territory some weeks back.
However, "a lot" did not mean "all." There was that junior city guard from Cape Aquaria who seemed to take an interest in her, her university professor who saw her as "a chosen one," and the club bouncer who made sure she and her friend Leigh weren't harassed.
As she witnessed the trek of her fellow Dwellers, she had a nagging feeling. Could the Dwellers be considering cutting off travel and contact with the Surfacers, or worse: declare war? She had to return to university in a couple of weeks! Why must her education, her friendships with Surfacers, and her freedom be jeopardized because her people and the Surfacers couldn't find a peaceful way to settle things?!
