This is a bit of an update. From humble beginnings my photography is steadily improving.I started out with a Kodak point and shoot camera and progressed to a Sony A-200 Digital SLR camera.Other equipment that i currently have is the following: Tamron 70-300mm lens. I've never seen this before. Interesting color patterns on its head and beak. I just can't figure out how you get such good photos. Telephoto lens? Or very tame birds you can sneak up on? Keep up the good work! :-)

T.Rex i go as close as the birds will allow me. If you are far from any bird or object and you zoom and take the picture one do find that the quality of the picture is not so good. So i would say the secret is to get as close as possible with any super zoom digital camera, zoom in and take the picture. God bless.
