as you can see, I'm skipping all over your gallery. So, as I always say, it's in no way a statement about the pics I don't comment on: It's just me getting a "sampling" after being away for so long. Your talent for clarity and contrast comes out beautifully in this shot. The dip---the 'valley' here---is so full, with the brush and other desert growth carpeting it all. And the red soil is brought out through the shadow and brush. And, you have it shouldered on each side (the 2 'peaks' on either side of the shot) for visual blance. With a swath of sky to give it light. Plus, the extra added attraction of that mound back in the center. Whatever it is (I don't know the proper names), it centers everything. Fine desert landscape, for detail, clarity and mystery. Your pov takes us right into it...
