How interesting it is! I'm amazed I inspired you. I used to collect owls and had hundreds, but I've got rid of most of them. I have a friend who collects frogs, and they are all in her bathroom (in the English meaning of the word)! I should be frightened to get into the bath in case they all fell in with me.

it's no surprise that Andrea would inspire you, her manipulations are unique and wonderful. Still, this piece is very much your own, and I love how you've made it into a patchwork or like panes of stained glass. The old and folklike chicken motifs in every pain suggests a folklore feeling, like this was made by hand over many months, and passed through the generations of a family: It has an intimate feeling. And your choices are delightful, as are your background treatments. And the center image---from an old advertisement or calendar, maybe?---is broken up like graphic design, something even Warhol would like, I'd bet. This is wonderful, Maria. And re your statement, "It will zoom,"you shold know that everything of yours zooms, and when one zooms all the way, your pieces sing. I love this montage.
