Description

I can't readily identify this group of flowers, but they have a very strong and delightful scent, attracting a host of insects.

... when I clicked this image, they appeared "white", with a tinge of pink , which has since become the dominant color.

I asked the neighbor lady (who grew them), and she said that her Mother had given them to her from her garden, and they are chrysanthemums. Searching on-line added some confusion, as the following link is the nearest I can find for accuracy of identification. Regardless, they are a rambling, prolific highly scented variety which I hope to root from a stem, as the main plant seems to branch out about four feet or so, resembling the following ... New York Daisy / Aster / Chrysanthemum ?

... and I was very fortunate to get a nice image from my digital camera, as every lighter color seems prone to overexposure.

Thank you for viewing and comments.

correction... 😀 New York aster / Michaelmas daisy ... except the leaves do not match any aster or daisy I have seen, so it "may" well be a hybrid chrysanthemum ... I really don't know.
