Description
Hey, two Halloweens in one day. Thank heaven for small favors.
Captured back on 10/29/09, early on an overcast morning, at a neighbor's lawn display about 1.3 miles from home. So, it's the real thing.
A ZOOM would be appropriate.
Ciao.

Ditto Denise. And btw, I just saw your comment in Denise's gallery, on Halloween. I agree with you entirely. (And Christmas did grow out of much more ancient holidays.) I always look forward to the season in your gallery. You do it up with total panache, fun, dark humor and artistic play and virtuosity. This is a deliciously malicious image, with that skull leaning-in on us; and you added those glowing eyes which complete her. I take it that veil was on her too (in person)? Well you have a dark purple tone to her, and it's pretty eerie. And you either placed her against a backdrop of your choosing, or you transformed the actual backdrop through postwork: It's now a nightmare wall, with recessive shadows, and it looks like there's something awful going on behind her. A wonderfully playful piece, and I don't know where you get the stamina to put out all these images, in a few weeks time. But they keep coming. Well, one more night and it'll be over, which is a shame because it represents a terrific time of year, filled with mystery and play, and "communing with the dead". Wonderful job.
(Btw, your title seems like a play on DiNiro's famous "you talkin' to ME???")

Interesting display. I bet there were many children who were quite cautious to proceed much further. Great catch!
