Description

I can not remember having uploaded this drawing of a tree I made in 2013, so here you go. But you know how it is. If you dont have it in an albun, you cant find it unless you want to waste weeks of time to search for it... I cant find out how to do it otherwise and it shouldnt even be complicated.. I gave up on this album stuff, as every time I want to put it in an album I dont have, I cannot create an album when I upload. They can keep their albums. And do you want to put older stuff in albums. OH my, I dont even dare to think about it. Thank you for viewing and commenting.

This is actually perfect for Halloween---it's bony and ominous and bare (for the fall), and it's beautifully articulated. It feels like a mix of a sketch and a heavy drawing, where you did genuinely studied lines, but also got 'essences'---ie, the pencil work is fast and energetic in the background and in the water. I remember this, though I don't know if it was in your gallery or in email; but wherever it was, I recognize the slant and the intense shading and the bony-ness of it. As far as I'm concerned, you can re-post anything you want---searching on the "new RR" is like searching for a penny in an ocean, half the time. They took away one of the best search engines of any art site on the web---kaboom---and now it takes way too long, and it just doesn't give good results. So post away. This is intense and very expressive, it's sharp, articulate and deliciously eerie. Your line work is really fine in this, Helle. I love it.

This is beautiful and also very interesting work, Helle. It radiates a good atmosphere, and it tickles someone's fancy. It inspires me, and I would immediately make a poem at this beautiful drawing, my friend. Forget about trying to make an effort to find your way in this new system, it's a waste of time. p.s. I loved your words about my last fractal: that you find it sexy!!! :D 😎

I don't know what you mean by albums in this case; nonetheless, I love the pencil sketching in this effect of the Wuthering Heights tree, jutting its bony and evil looking countenance outward over the landscape Helle. And it's perfect for Halloween.

I really enjoy looking at this drawing (things like that never ever age) - but it also reminds me of a poem we had to learn at school, when I grew up as a child in Germany: "Der Erl Koenig" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and it left a big impression on me then and I still remember it now - you created an amazing memory there somehow, with this drawing, thanks !

Cheers BB
