This reminds me of that black oily substance that they had in the X-Files movie, that entered people's bodies through their skin and migrated up to their eyeballs. This is much more beautiful, though; your work is so amazingly eclectic!

Fascinating. But, my eye is drawn to, and disturbed by the two rectilinear artefacts which interestingly induce a little feeling of fear.

Must pop off to the shrink to find out why.

WOW! Amazing and very beautiful creation. Must have taken much time to do. It reminds me about an image I once made digitally. Hmm! In that image I needed some water in the landscape. Then I made water digitally from a photo, I took of a rouch steel sponge. I just stretched the photo and it looked like water. Wonder if I still have it somewhere.

Isn't it funny how our minds want to make something out of everything? I was looking at your image in full view, thinking about those flat pieces of aluminum that were about to become one with the molten river, and then I read Andrea's comment about the rectilinear shapes inducing fear, and now they look rather menacing to me, as well! When they were being consumed / subsumed, they were fine. As soon as they were emerging, they became something to keep an eye on.

Huh.

Well, aside from all that, I like it! :)

A maelstrom of high contrast b & w metal objects, rapidly surging unabated downstream towards a great metropolis, I fear, in this highly imaginative concept, Mark. Pollution, in the form of stoic metal shards, at its most destructive.

oh, I see alien faces... what does that say about me? lol! this is cool. I like the light and dark pieces and how they blend in places; it keeps me searching for other images hiding in plain sight.
