Description
I had the distinct honor and pleasure of meeting Tara (auntietk) and Bill (bmac62) this week and had a wonderful time visiting with them and "talking shop" as we looked for photographic opportunities.
They are both very friendly and easy going, as well as talented and both found subjects to photograph that were in "their wheelhouse". We had a wonderful time together. Thanks, Tara and Bill, for stopping by on your travels and for making my day!
Thanks very much for your views and comments.

You folks are so very fortunate, to be open minded and adventuresome enough to extend your lives through the internet and share some personal time with .net friends. Having experienced similar activities in a "past life", I fondly recall David, Maria and their toddler daughter visiting from Key West, and hope one day to visit with them again.
Nice picture also

WOW! Who pushed the shutter release first? Almost like an old western duel, but with cameras! How did the photos turn out? Must have been a load of laughs! I'd love to meet you two, but being in Sweden, it's is not feasible. So I'll just enjoy photos like this. Keep up the good work! I just love this! :-)

LOL! With those long lenses, I don't think either of us even considered pushing the button. :P That was such a fun day, and your lake is beautiful, never mind that the birds weren't out in force. I enjoyed the ones we saw and the company was more important anyway. :) (And I think I got some good stuff in that church, too.)
We only made it as far as Baird today, because it was pouring down rain. It's added a day to our trip, but that's okay. We'll be home on Monday.
Thanks again for a fun couple of days! :)

A fun picture of one of Renderosity's favorite couples. If it's a "who's got the biggest camera" contest, Tara is clearly the winner...

Nice shot Maria.

LOL! T&B are a hoot and so easy to spend time with, I've been fortunate to share a few shoots with both of them. It's fun meeting new folks this way. Great dual/duel portrait!

First of all, they must be really loaded to afford their endless cross country trips and those expensive lenses. Wow. I could use one of those. In any event, a very nice profile portrait of the couple, showing off their talents in this rather amusing capture, Maria.

Oh, this is absolutely priceless! What a great and fun photo of these two wonderful folks and great friends! Glad you had the opportunity to meet them - they are truly excellent photographers. They were here last week for my birthday and we just had a blast!
I just love this photo! :-D

Oh, I just love this shot!! Tara and I have spent hours with our cameras, and I finally got to meet Bill last year when they came thru my town. This is such a good foto---I'm not sure either of them could find their ways without cameras in their hands!!

That was certainly a nice day and the picture is funny. Many years ago there was once a meeting of Renderosity members here in Heidelberg. We were, I think, eight people, and I showed them the sights of Heidelberg. That was a funny day. :o)

I had the pleasure of meeting Tara in Chicago, before she and Bill were engaged; and though I've never met Bill, I've known him for a while. Tara talked about meeting you several times, before they arrived, and I saw her picture of you in her gallery, a few nights back. So I immediately came here, and found this. (Well, I've seen you on RR anyway, in your beautiful gallery, and your always kind and caring comments. So I knew you were here, believe me.) This is a great shot! The Standoff at Dry Gulch, or wherever. So why does Tara---who has the smaller camera (and says she finds heavy cameras 'uncomfortable')---have a lens big enough to photograph Moscow? That's a big lens! I love how they're pointing at each other, as if to say, "you drop it first!" And I assume that's the lake where you guys searched for birds. Wonderful shot, Maria. I'm glad you guys could spend a couple of days together. You do beautiful work, I'll come back here again for others...
