The photo is great, but WHAT a mess of wires!
I love the man communicating without them!

I saw the same as Andrea. All those wires CAN'T be to code!! I'd be afraid to walk down the alley, just for fear one of them would fall on my head and electrocute me. LOL! The way the light catches the wires is great. A terrific shot!

Fine detail and depth in this mid winter shot of what appears to be the close quarters alley between a row of tenements, Mark. Claustrophobia heaven. What look like overhead wires could also be clotheslines. And what is that car sitting there in violation of the no parking signs? Has the owner no sense of propriety? But I digress. Well taken fotograph, my friend. And, I finally caught up with your gallery.

I like the bright light and the touches of color. wires, wires everywhere. I hope snow doesn't bring them down. I spent weeks without power because of downed wires a few winters ago.

Oh, my giddy aunt...... :-O

The opportunities for crosstalk here are on a galactic scale!

I'm endlessly fascinated by scenes like this with all the wires, cables, poles - the longer you looks at it, the more fun stuff you see - like the basketball hoop on the left just above the dumpsters. What a shot, Mark!

If you think this is bad, you should see the wires at an intersection in Mexico!! When someone changes something, they just add or subtract a wire, and go on their merry way. I think I have a foto somewhere in my files; I'll have to look for it. Truly an electricians nightmare!! Great shot of what it takes to keep the lights on!!

I've seen views like this from places in India, impossible tangles of wires upon wires upon wires...I didn't know you lived there! And I almost thought you were giving us a snow shot until I noticed the green leaves on the tree. I love that high key stuff!
