Description

Captured 1019/15 @ 8:33 am, across the street from my condominium complex. This is about as close to a Denise-like autumn effect as I could get. Most ZOOM worthy. Toodles.

A very appealing shadow abstract against that gritty textured background...

The shadows look very bizarre. Fantastic shot, very well seen and captured.

The shadow looks like the shadow of a rose to me, which contrasts nicely with the dried twig. Nicely found and captured, Harry.

The shadow looks so much more substantial than the actual article, what an amazingly wonderful shot you got here!

terrific. This is one of the most 'moody' of your spare twigs-and-leaves-on-the-sidewalk shots. Because of the heavy shadows and the deep shadows in the concrete. (Ie, the tiny shadows between the striations in the sidewalk.) I think, because the leaves are furled, they cast those "rose" shadows that Maria saw. And the shadows are perfectly perpendicular to the striations in the concrete.

Plus, in this shot, you have "guests": The soiled spot in the upper right; and the big shadow in the lower left. They're abstract elements, here, and they add to the shot greatly. And the sidewalk is alive, electric. Fine detail and clarity, and a terrific study. I hope everyone zoomed---the piece blooms full size. Terrific work, Harry, and I'm glad a number of people saw it.
