This is for adults and children, Carol, and your poem---filled with some delicate rhyme, coming in different places, like little surprises---feels like the poem of a children's book, filled with invitation and magic. (And I love how 'love' is the thing that makes all this happen. There's been a lot of love as a theme in your images of late...) The trunk is pure magic-tree stuff, the type of magic trees that fill the best children's illustrations. And also which are described in some of the ancient scriptures of India and other places...as well as our Medieval Europe. Ie, providing trees. Protecting trees. Spiritually imbued trees. One expects a creature to come out of it, giving directions to someplace far away, where a treasure awaits...Beautiful detail in the furls---this would be great to see large.
And there's a cavern in the upper trunk---the trunk falls into a cavern of some sort. (What would your art be without caverns and recesses?) And from that? The roses. The roses here are like a vast flower garland, or a crown. They really do make this feel like a children's fantasy kingdom. You've articulated this so delicately. And there's a castle land in the background, surrounded by mists. And a sky filled with lights, and light mixing with that rust peach toned sky. (Like it's all powdered with a rouge mixed with ginger or some other spice.) And the unicorns have your usual balletic form for certain animals. With a sea of grass and petals, and more flowers (and a butterfly) in the foreground. It would make a perfect cover to a book of tales, ancient and magical. It's enchanting and delicate and speaks to the child in everyone. Beautiful work Carol, once more...

anahata.c has said it all! Beautiful intertwining of prose and mystical art!
