I took this one of a maple entwined with a willow in Jacksonville a couple of days ago...

Zoom's essential! The detail of all the leaves really pops out. It looks almost like a decoration; and the combo of greens with those tomato reds is stunning. (Reds and greens are opposite on most color wheels: They're natural contrasts.) A closeup that feels like the reds are spelling something out for us; and the green leaves feel like rain made of leaves. Well, willows do that, don't they...Radiant and gentle at the same time...
