Description

I was riding with someone to LA so I could catch as bus north to Las Gatos,CA. a stretch of interstate had opened allowing us to bypass this area. my ride told me that the area going through Oatman was a nightmare. at least it had been recently paved before my trip to Oatman. the road is quite scenic however

as always, zoom's a must! In zoom we see the wonderful blanketing curve of the hills, and how all that scruffy growth actually "couches" the road. And the dark blue-gray pavement really sticks out against this green and brown landscape. The flatness contrasts too, with the scraggly growth and rubble on either side. Love how it winds back...I don't know how much fun the ride is, but you got a wonderful shot of it. You capture the drama and "story" of such a road. You got it as it would probably want to be 'told'...
