Description
A close capture of the trailing edge of a mini storm, which produced all of a thimbleful of rain, captured 10/5/15 @ 11:18 am, from the parking lot of our local Walmart.
It's cooled off considerably since our devilishly hot October, but still no substantial rain as yet.

Well we got several of these clouds this eveing and getting a good bit of rain!!!

That's good. We got nothing at all. The weather bureau said that it would be a spotty storm.

a big looming cloud dominates this deep blue sky (a beautiful sky), threatening the way big heavy clouds do. It presses down on the picture---good crop! And such white clouds below. You've captured the looming promise of something big. I'm sorry the rain wasn't as big as the threat...I know your drought has gone on forever. It must drive all of you crazy to see rain clouds, then be let down by a few drops---a big tease. But the photo is filled with threat, and the blues and whites are beautiful.

That is a beautiful sky, Harry. While you still haven't gotten the rain you need, I'm glad the heat has dissipated.
