Description
This intrepid fellow hangs onto the fence partition for dear life, captured back on 8/3/11, during my last visit to the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific, in beautiful Long Beach, California.

full zoom reveals not only the full array of colors, but the 'grain' in the tarp. What an unusual angle! I love that you caught this guy on his side, yet looking up. At first I thought you'd turned the pic on its side, but from what you say, you caught him as he stands. Almost an abstract with those wonderful lorikeet-hues against that aqua-green tarp. It's almost minimalist...I love your pov, crop and vivid hues. A most unusual and satisfying bird capture, Sir H!
