I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

glad you were able to take her up. a very colorful fall capture. I recall back when I was working for a company, suddenly I would have all kinds of new responsibilities and no increase in pay unless I was working for a vice president(special projects) he would order my superiors to give me raises

G4 or Ar? Which one got this shot? Inquiring minds want to know... Very beautiful capture Rod! In a way, fall is the hardest season of all as everyone realizes that things are shutting down for the winter to come. I FULLY understand the concept of more work with no increase in pay. have a great Sunday

Jobs will never offer more money but will want more out of their employees. Dan nab this is a farking cool aerial shot, Rod. Love that golden color.

The color is amazing.

I'm more blown away by the p o v, being able to see all the pavement ends/details/layout of construction that are missed at ground level. Also, a bit curious as to what types of trees reflect these colors....

Beautiful! I never thought about what the golden hour would look like from up high, because I always think of it as an angle of the light. Wow. This is incredible! Glad you thought to do this!
And I'm SO excited that you're going to be doing more 2D drawing sorts of things! I TOLD you so!! LOL!

What a glorious view! I love the images you get with the drones.

not knowing your history, I don't know if you flew these drones, or ran them from the ground, or something else (forgive my ignorance! I never heard of Inspire and Phantom, so I'm out of the loop here)...but I assume you're taking the shot, as it feels like a Rod landscape. It as a very sweet sweep, and lots of color and shadow, and it feels very midwestern, with a gentle vastness. Wasn't it a custom, for years, that photographers would do 'night' shots at actual twilight, to get the light but also some of darkness? This isn't twilight, of course, but that came to mind. You got the magic of this hour; and, with all that fall amber, etc, it's a splendid shot. Splendid broad capture, Rod, your landscapes are really embracing...(zoom---which goes off my monitor and into my neighbor's living room lol---really brings home your sense of the midwestern vastness)
I understand, btw, the hassles of job changes and hour pile-ups and such. The old idea of remunerating people for such things seems so "old," today, it's almost embarrassing to suggest it. I hope it works out for you, there just comes a time in one's life where they deserve to have ease and joy from their work...

It is amazing the Technology and toys we have now days I had a control line type airplane with a glow fuel engine it would make me dizzy every time I flew it and the fear of cutting off my finger I felt every time I started it.
