Description

at Interstate highways 30 and 35E it has been a death trap for many drivers since it was built. it was here already in 1970. it is at the west end of the so called "canyon" where I30 is below the surface just south of downtown

Oh wow.... that's a BUSY area and I'll bet this will mess up rush hour traffic something awful for a long time.

And the construction never ends... just to make more traffic jams... cool shot though!

Looking at this, I can't help but think of all of the planning details that must go into a project like this. The heights, curves, distances, load-factors, the angle that the road leans into the curve(s) to compensate for traffic at certain speed(s)... One detail out of place and rush-hour turns deadly.

in addition to it being a death trap, your shot looks like a future excavation of a once-used highway, from way back in the 21st Century! I love the pillars (pylons, whatever they are) standing there with no road attached. And the chunks of concrete, etc, on the ground. Can't get the thought of an archaeological dig out of my head! Fascinating discombobulated scene, I love the shot.
