I think awesome is the word I want. My favorite reality would actually be the one I'm in. Does that make me dull?

Cool and stark image. Certainly modern surreality. Interesting vid too. I'm a bit of an Oldfield fan and this is an interesting redo or sequel to Tubular Bells.

A small bit of trivial trivia; according to Christian Vander (founder of the French progressive band Magma) he was in a studio recording and the Tubular Bells melody was something he was working on. Apparently Oldfield was there at the same time. According to Vander, Oldfield "took" the melody and created Tubular Bells. According to Oldfield, he said the riff came to him one day and he doesn't remember hearing it at the studio, though he acknowledged being at the studio for his own projects. One may need that grain of salt to believe any of this, but it would make sense if they were both right. The melody may have stuck in Oldfield's head and he did not remember where it came from, who knows. But unfortunately for Vander and Magma, Oldfield released his current album before Magma did, so Vander dropped whatever he was doing with it. I seriously doubt one sounded much like the other in the big picture, especially if you know what Magma sounds like. True story. True story?
