Description

Here I wanted to depict the Hulk as truly monstrouns in rage and physical scale. His muscles are so fulled with power that EVERY FIBER is bulging obscenely, distorting his physique, warping the anatomy. I wanted my Hulk to look like a MONSTER!!! Next I hope I captured that expression of insane rage. What do you think?

I think you are taking the subject matter far too seriously. Ive seen far greater liberties taken in comics than this. Comics have a very flexible "reality", some artists go for the absurd, others go for hyper-realim. I prefer an exaggerated realism.

My original comment: You have exagerated it to the point where it's just plain absurd. He is a psychotic monster, yes, but no longer a very believable one. Also take note of the point where he is gripping the tank. I don't know of any metal or alloy that warps like that under pressure.I think the metal would rip if distorted to such a degree.

I probably am. I just think that it might be more effective if toned down just a bit. The face of the man in the tank, for example, far less exagerated than the hulk, is a perfectly executed portrayal of cartoonish abject horror. I can see the motive for trying to show all of the details on the Hulk, but it makes the minor ones detract from the more important lines. I guess it could work if some of the lines were dimmed a bit, and there was more shading, in order to give an accurate impression of form. It probably all comes down to stylistic preference in the end, but I still think this is a bit overworked.
