Description
There were several peacocks wandering around the gardens. Some of them were colored like this one & some were white. They all seemed very used to crowds & were pretty much oblivious to our presence...
Please zoom.

more popping contrasts...your colors are alive! Zoom's a must for your hues, this peacock is pecking away at a lushly delicious green lawn. And his blues are saturated as blues can get, and the detail in his upper feathers, with that tassel'd tail is like a big fluff scarf with tassels on the end. His contrast with that lush green is eye popping. The little snippet of flowers in the left corner roots us---it's not an endless expanse, it's a contained lawn. But your color sense is borderless. A stunner. I love it.
(I saw peacocks in Spain, wandering around. Occasionally they'd open their tails, and you'd lose your breath---not because I'd never seen them before, but because it was so unexpected: You're walking, and suddenly Whoosh! The universe opens up before you. Then they close their feathers and walk on, as if to say, "I need a good coffee." They're stunning birds.)

I have 22 of these running around the farm, Only two white ones though. Great shot!

I think they're really just fancy chickens; beautiful, though, and I'd love to see white ones. Gorgeous shot!

I do love them. A park near me has had to stop keeping them because of vandalism and thuggery.

I love their little topknot feathers. They're astonishing every time I see one! They never get old.
