Made the boat with the tutorial at http://www.onnovanbraam.com with a few little touches of my own. Hope you like it.

Good effort. Could use a bit of tweaking though. The main areas for improvement are that the dinghy looks like it is floating (not on the water - above the water!). The shadows/relections from the pier posts look a bit flat too. I also think that you could do something to make the water look more realistic where it meets the beach (some foam maybe?).
