you see the close up of a violin player hands and you will see this. The black is grease or rodle from the strings they put on so the fingers can glade over the strings well. Of course the stings also made the indent on the fingers also hope the color is right as I got two screens on my computer and they not set for right color yet. but the hand are flesh looking in the read painting

This is a really nice painting. I love how you can take something a person might not even pay that close attention to on seeing and put it into focus with your art. Well done!
