I get the story, and the basic scene is set up very well. However, the poses seem a bit stiff for people bursting into hectic action. I adore the smile on the woman to our right -- she's got a lot of attitude and emotion. The one thing I must be critical of, however, is the rain effect. It just doesn't look real and does not do justice to your scene. It looks like strings are falling on them, and when I first saw this I couldn't tell at a glance that it was supposed to b rain -- I thought it might be leaves of some sort. The final thing I'd like to comment on is something I see in many of your renders -- it's just a little too dark. This could be a taste issue -- maybe I just prefer scenes that are more brightly lit -- but in general, brighten things up (like you did in the image where they redheaded boy is climbing the tree over the swimming hole). You do great work and I like seeing the details you include.
