Description

Hi All, I wanted to try an 'old' weathered alphabet block. Uses RJJ itx for the major 'wood' effect on the block with another set for the 'letters' and 'rims' around each letter. Also uses Imagines' crusty.itx [one for block as another for the 'letters'. Your opinion please... bye the bye... it was done with multipass technique; eight layers. Clae F Tanett

How come eight layers? I'm not too hot on the whole mutipass thing.

More contol. I work in multipass exclusively now. I can change the 'ground' layer without a thought. I can make the shadows [both on the object or ground] lighter or darker. I can add even more items to the picture [without a thought]. I didn't put side or highlights in... but I could [very easily]. But the main study was just on what texture [procedural] would do what.
