Description

My second C4D scene. First, I did not model the heart myself, just textures and posed it. I found it at the 3Dub.com human anatomy section as a royalty free model. The credit is owed to the creator, which unfortunately was not specified. The reason I didn't model the heart myself is because I am only at the start of my C4D learning experience, but I have wanted to compose such a scene for some time now. I hope you can forgive me, but I promise I will model my own objects as soon as I feel confident enough. Thank you for viewing!

ianross ....Not a bad "second scene`' Dez...... But I'm curious as to your - "wanting to compose such a scene for some time"...... And 'they' say some of my images are 'strange'.... Seriously though, that is impressive texturing and realism on the heart. Funny enough, what bothers me most, is that the 'blood' is seeping around the plug hole and not over it....

I had some difficulty on the drain, and it is elevated from the table. The idea is that it also drains slightly from the underneath, and the blood is still very viscous. About my desire on creating such a scene, its not morbid curiosity, just an interest in the beauty of human anatomy, and the contrast with the cold, sterile environment of steel. So...I hope I don't freak you out ;)

I like the texture and I think this is very good for a newbie. I do most of my own modeling but sometime you just got to go with a pre-made model like poser etc. their are time I get frustrated because my models don't look exactly how I want them too (Especially People) but those are the time I learn the most. Keep up the good work and effort.

You did a very good texturing job DeZ ! Cinema4D is also a texturing/rendering tool, so there is no need to feel guilty of uploading images featuring pre-made models in this gallery. If you're into "flesh & bones", I invite you to visit the site of "Visible Productions" (where "jsls" works) : www.visiblep.com. They create amazing anatomical 3D models, medical illustrations and "virtual dissections".

YES!!! your texture for the heart is so so SO good, but the blood going down the drain is not right, you nee blood to go up on top of it, right now it looks like its going under the metel circle. GREAT work tho

Ok, as you might have noticed, I upated the scene with the blood partially flooding the drain. Thanks for you comments!

That is an excellent texture. You could almost reach out and put it in a frying pan. (Err.. Did I say that out loud??) Really nice Render.
