Description
This is a conceptualization of one of the characters in a novel which I am close to completing.
"Commissioner Radrin was an imposing man, standing nearly four and a half cubits tall, with a face as muscular as his forearms. He was a contra-albino, nearly obsidian—a gift from a generation long past on his mother’s side. His hair was as fair as his face was dark; and his large eyes were at once penetrating and warm. It was said that only in Mordecani himself had Adamah ever seen such perfect union of might and wisdom."
The texture is Mec4D's Terry, which was subjected first to SnarlyGribbly's EZ-Skin, and then an alteration of the hsv node to make the character still darker. He is wearing the suit from Epsilon, but I have done away with the image map and replaced it with a very simple material that seemed more suitable to my medievalesque setting. The hair is a temporary placeholder until I have time to do something better, but it gives an idea. Postwork includes some layer blending, a bit of blur on the background, one brightness/contrast filter, and two photo filters.

First, I hope your novel does well. I really like the way your character looks. Nice detailing and the facial hair really stands out.
