Description

(Really should be seen Full) Earlier this year, Brigitte (blondeblurr - https://www.renderosity.com/?uid=542026) made a dedi for me that typified her kindness and wonderful joy. She's been very kind to me, and I threatened to make her a dedi for months. This image is based on one of the panels I made for her birthday---it's way changed, but it still has a "flaming Buddha". That's in her honor because she has a real connection to buddhism; and, to me, it captures her spirit. I've seen that, even in difficult times, she's filled with dance, creativity and love. And her art is like---if you gave her a dog, a wrench, a rose and a bridge, she'd come back 6 hours later with a wild design that had elements of window dressing, abstract art, decoration, painting and photography. I don't know how she does it, but to me, they feel like they dropped out of the sky 'complete'. Ba-boom. She seems fearless as an artist---I mean she just does what her muse tells her to do, and I luuuv the results. She's been so buoyant and kind to me! So it was time to thank her...Now...I'm never sure where these montages are 'going': They're never planned, I'm their slave totally. So when you find excess or too many purples, or panels that don't fit: Yes. All true. All I can say is, they tell me "post me!" and I do...I conceived this as a sequence from meditation to a bursting sun. So Brigitte, know that it's about coming-into-the-world Dancing. Thank you for your kindness and wonderful energies, and your wonderful work too, they've all been a gift! Have a great summer down there in Australia, and wonderful holiday season too. BB!!!!!! Light and blessings to you always, Mark (photoshop and a few tantrums) ------------------------------------------

Beautiful, shimmering, radiant psychedelia with a buddhist touch. I can imagine this as a kind of abstract expressionist version of a Tibetan thangka, embroidered in silk (this is a joyful kind of abstract expressionism that I can appreciate)...

A DOG, a WRENCH, a ROSE and a BRIDGE, OK - no problemo Mark, I can work with that - but what will people say ? and 6 hours ? you are very kind, but no - nobody will wait that long, if you want to get paid, LOL ...

... as for your 'surprise, surprise' - what can I say, it's out there in the most delicious mix of colours (that pink is just sooooo sweet, what will my Dentist say ?).

On a serious note - I can visualize the Buddha in this 'triptych' - and my favourite would have to be the centre one ... because he is surrounded by soft light-blue waters, but in the first panel by very deep oceans, just like where we are living, on the biggest Island - Australia ;) but - the last one has the fiery theme and overtones, also another sad reminder of our present bush-fires, because of unusual hot temperatures for this time of the year - but it's all good ! just like Phoenix rises from the ashes - it's also a good thing for the regeneration of our forests and land ... thanks to you Mark and your creative spirits, who guide you into the most remote corners of our world ... so far away from the cool and oh, so chilly Chicago.

I visualize the warmth of the pink glowing Buddha, (middle panel) who is trying to melt away the transparent cold front, which I recognize, as if it were a frozen feather-like ice shield. Those are the powers of the holy man. ;))

Cheers 🌐

Oh this is exactly our friend Brigitte, while she is completely ablaze, with her bustling heart. Never tire of discovering beauties, her head full of colors which go beyond everyone's imagination. Also, I'm sure, Brigitte is over the moon with this great surprise for her, you made so applicable. BB-chen does deserve all the accolades for hundred percent. I love to see in it also our Gittie staying in the sun. Superb done, Mark.

I'm having a good time going through your gallery, catching up a little. I saw this when you posted it, but apparently didn't leave a comment at the time. The panels feel like spring, summer and fall to me. A beautiful progression. If I were going to have a couple yards of fabric printed for a new shirt, I'd take the second one, simply for the colors. What a beautiful dedication for our beautiful BB!
