Description

Seeing Andrea's (durleybeachbum) boys together today got me thinking on how well they get on, especially with a girl (Rosie) in the house. Yes she will be speyed but even so. In my experience girls are not as easy as boys to get on together. If the girls have an altercation, that is for life & very hard to get them to live in pure harmony. I would NEVER take litter sisters. Brother & sister, fine. Over the years my girls have most of the times got on very well but that is because I will NOT allow any oneupmanship. I am boss first & foremost. My oldest girl has always been boss(apart from one exception, one of my collies wan't interested in being boss so when we lost Della, Flissie, Hannah's daughter took over), Meadow is boss, she has no contender at the moment no one challenges her. Jasmine really doesn't want to be, so I guess Truly may take over. You may think I am soft with the girls BUT I can assure you, they know when I am cross. I don't allow any bossiness from Truly to the older girls. I have NO trouble over food or eating, they will stand & wait while each finish their meals, when they walk away from their respective bowls then the other is allowed to see if anything is left (that doesn't happen very often :0))) Truly & Jasmine get very excited at mealtimes so to avoid confrontation (Truly jumps on Jasmine & barks in her face) an hour before their teatime I will separate them. The girls have got to live together peacefully. I had two German shepherd girls that did have a fight, those girls could NEVER be in the same room again. As I said in my experience girls are far less forgiving that boys. Thanks for the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

What a beautiful collage and wonderful information Barbara !

Cat's have their pecking order too=== and needless to say the baby thinks she is much bigger and dominate than she really is !

She is last in line but continually tries to push her way to the top ~

Barbara you are one of the most valued and responsible pet owner I have witnessed over the years.

Your pets are very fortunate to have you ! It is without a doubt all the care, love and concern of their well being is your first and foremost desire for them. Being a firm/ assertive trainer has made all your girls the best they can be ! Bet you are very proud of them and should be proud of yourself for all the hard work you have put into getting them into the "Winners" Circle .
