Description

Poppies are a symbol of remembrance. Poppies are a symbol of forgetfulness. For me poppies are most of all a symbol of hope. Their seeds can lay dormant for long times, abiding harsh conditions, but as soon as circumstances allow, they germinate and the delicate, vibrant red flowers spring to life. Thanks for sharing those thoughts. I never thought of the significance before. It's a lovely image. I like the flow of the composition and the reflection of the poppie's crimson in the model's lips.
