the amazing thing about pipes is, you sit in this little cockpit and play, and, behind you, a sound comes out that could rock the Rocky Mountains off their foundations. Those high pipes are the lowest notes, and in a great organ those notes (pedals) sound like the earth's about to split in two...Your shot brings out great white lights in the pipes, and wonderful highlights on the verticals below them (the arches at the bottom of the shot). And clean clear light on either side. The shot's framed well too, with the ceiling and the lower arches. (That ceiling looks curved...I assume it was intended, but it almost looks like it's sagging!) Really fine presentation of a very busy sight. You've tamed the busyness of this place in your shots, without losing the details. As photogenic as it is, I'd imagine it's very hard to deal with all that visual 'shouting' when you have to photograph it. These shots are a delight, Richard.
