Description

Zlata has joined Staci in the tunnel of convergence and the result is quite wild to say the least Zlata had to find her transport for this visit. as a side note, this image took just a mere 5 minutes, 45 seconds to render not bad for an old machine 4 gig of memory (purchased January 2009)

(on rendering, I've often left a drawing and shouted, "render!" but it didn't budge. Not a jot. We 2D-ers are robbed, is all...) One of the things 2D and photography artists never get to deal with is recurring models---or whatever they're called. I mean like Staci and Zlata. It's great that you can take characters you love, and put them in image after image; or if you want to add one to an already existent image, you can add them. I realize there's a lot of planning and plotting, etc, but it's just something you don't do in 2D. This is a big geometric carnival, with all kinds of rings and polyhedrons, and much brighter light; and the feeling of a big mall of shapes that your characters are balanced on. Well Zlata is kind of flying rather than balancing...but anyway, a delight, a geometers playground. If this is the last one tonight, you ended with a bang. Delightful work, Mike. Hope your Thanksgiving was great!
