Creation Date: November 01, 2015 "Hailee is having a wild time fighting her way through the broken down asylum." Notes: This started out as the main render for my Hailee Addon Harlequin for RDNA but I kept going back and playing with the scene some more until I came up with this final standalone artwork. I added more details, gave it more depth, and even some how made it a bit more creepy and mischievous. I finished it a day late for Halloween but it was so much fun to create. Hailee is an absolute joy to work with. I think she may be my favorite of all the characters I've created so far. Tech Notes: The main changes I made between the original render and this artwork were playing around more with the camera's focal point to give it a slight "fun-house mirror" surreal look and I added more props to the background to not only add more detail to the scene but to add more depth. I made the focal point Hailee's face so the top of the bat (which is pointed at the camera) is slightly blurry thanks to the rendering of the depth of field effect which then rendered each prop behind and in front of her as needed in just right way to create a realistic sense of depth. It took a while to render (about 12 hours and that's after all the work I did creating the scene and everything that went into it) but it was well worth it.
