GARDEN PATH
You walked me along the twisted way, talking about a love I'll never know, for half way up the garden path I felt your fingers slip from my palm, all alone with just rubble beneath my feet.
Take me away from the beauty that surrounds me, I can foresee a storm which will wash away all of life's pleasures, making each day impossible for my tree to bare fruit until the sun returns to my life.
Take this flower from the paths edge and plant it upon my gravel bed, take the rain and stars and mix them together to form the tears of angels which will cry upon this bed which you have made.
Enticing as it is to walk the path alone, how could I without the formalities of your love, look back to see the path I walked with you, only to find that everything has withered within seconds into my future.
This Garden path will never be the same.

I like figs but not their leafs. years ago in Mexico a friend's mother suggested a tea made from fig leafs for an upset stomach. believe me, it was a very bad idea. made me sicker than a dog
great capture

Quite an interesting shot here - I like the contrast of the shriveled up leaves with the still green ones.
