Description

I am cleaning up in my upload folder, so here is the first shot from July. Need to see som flowers in my Gallery :) Have a beautiful day/evening. We have had nicer weather today, but still windy and sun. But we can almost not see it, because the storm and hurricane really made the windows very dirty. Tomorrow they promised light wind and then it is time to clean up after the bad weather. Thank you very much for viewing and commenting :-)

sorry about all the damage from that hurricane, and all the soot it left behind. I hope the hurricane season is over soon (it usually ends about now, in the states). I guess you picked the perfect "foil" for the storm---a super bright flower photo! The light on those blooms is so bright it's like they're lit all by themselves. A true July image. And a sweet mix of prickly branches and buds, and black chair and box, all lined up in this vertical crop. Fine work, Helle, and very bright and bold. And a nice antidote to the heavy cold skies of December. Hope you and Per have an easy time cleaning up after the storm...and I hope another one doesn't return.

Sorry to hear about the hurricane. We had luck, only very windy but no storm here. A wonderful shot and reminder of the summer.

Very nice. The bright yellow flower really stands out in sharp contrast against that black chair. Glad to hear you weathered the storm with minimal damage...

Lovely sunny summer flower. Hope you don't have too much of a mess to clean up after the storm you had.

Basically, what Mark said in this high contrast July capture, Helle. I wonder just what kind of flowers they are....asters, some kind of daisy? They could almost pass for giant dandelions. In any case, they sure pop out against the background. And, it would take fifty years for me to clean up my upload folders.
