Weihnachtszeit - Christmastime
When the snow falls wunderbar and the children happy are, when the Glatteis on the street and we all a Gluehwein need, then you know, es ist soweit: She is here, the Weihnachtszeit.
Every Parkhaus ist besetzt, weil die people fahren jetzt, all to Kaufhof, Mediamarkt and Walmart
kriegen nearly Herzinfarkt, shopping hirnverbrannte things and the Christmasglocke rings.
Mother in the kitchen bakes Schoko-, Nuss- and Mandelkeks, Daddy in the Nebenraum schmuecks a Riesen-Weihnachtsbaum. He is hanging auf the balls, then he from the Leiter falls...
Finally the Kinderlein, to the Zimmer kommen rein and es sings the family schauerlich: "Oh, Chistmastree!" And the jeder in the house is packing die Geschenke aus.
Mama finds unter the Tanne eine brandnew Teflon-Pfanne, Papa gets a Schlips and Socken, everybody does frohlocken. President speaks in TV, all around is Harmonie, Bis mother in the kitchen runs, im Ofen burns the Weihnachtsgans.
And so comes die Feuerwehr with Tatue, tata daher and they bring a long, long Schlauch, and a long, long Leiter auch and they schrei - "Wasser marsch!", Christmas is - now im - ... Eimer.
Hey People ... in diesem Sinne ... I wish Euch eine frohe Vorweihnachtszeit!!!!!

lol, I used to read Deutsch well, but now mein Deutsch ist nicht gut, ja? (Nicht wunderbar!) So I understood about 2/3 of your Weihnachtszeit narrative---but I got enough of it to feel its joy. (And it made me hungry!) Boy, is this a beautiful image! Yesterday, you did an image of a man holding a bloody knife---and, today, you post this total delight! The woman's reds are a perfect stand-out for the rest of the image (with those greens, blue-greens, pale pinks, browns, etc). I love her outfit---you always put great care into your clothing. The son is dressed almost from the Montana farm country! His father looks more like he's from a Dickens novel. And they're on a great sleigh, which sweetly curves its way across the image, and ties the foreground together. And you have gifts upfront and a dog in back, and that beautiful store front (filled with chocolates, I presume)---all done beautifully, Ute. A wonderful evocation of the season, on this 2d day of December. Glorious!
