Hi. My real name is Gary and I live in the state of Ohio about 20 miles due north of Cincinnati. My professional background is in mechanical engineering. I studied at the University of Cincinnati. The first half of my career was spent on the drawing board and the second half at a Unigraphics workstation.
But, I have always dabbled in art. I started using Poser when it was first introduced. And, I also started using PhotoShop with version 2.5, in the early 90's.
When I had my home based Product Design & Illustration business, I very often super imposed Victoria 2 into my product renderings just for a human size reference. Poser has really come a long, long way, since those early days. The product content at Renderosity, DAZ, Content Paradise, YURdigital and RDNA is just amazing. The vendors at these sites are incredible.
I really like working in 3D space. That's why I also have Bryce, Carrara and Rhino 3D in my toolbox, as well.
The profile picture is from my pre-UC days. I'm the one with the Rickenbacker.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. See ya!

Thanks! It’s a very shimmery material. It has a “saran wrap” kind of sheen to it.

Very nice. May I suggest, however, that Marilyn Monroe relished being admired and photographed? There would never have been even a trace of apprehension or hesitancy in her expression.

That's very true for Marilyn but not so much so for Normal Jean. This image was originally going to be titled 8-8-62 which was the date of Marilyn's funeral. This scene has Norma standing inside of a crypt. If you look closely to the right of her head, you should be able to make out the name of another famous suicide victim. That's why I didn't use the date for the title.

Wonderful job. I love Marilyn.

Wonderful tribute to her. You did a fine job recreating the brunette look. This is very heartfelt and touching. Great job.

Thank you very much. Norma Jean had “mouse-y brown” hair. That’s why I picked that shade. I'm glad that you picked up on that. Thanks, again!
