this year we have had extreme drought twice and record amounts of rain. only in Texas

a loving capture of a simple bunch of leaves and branches. With a red 'carpet' of bokeh in the background. Lots of different light on these, too, with lots of types of raindrops, reflections and hues. It's simple, but it's a whole complex of forms and hues. Beautiful work once more: Even in your simplest nature captures, your details, tone, hue, shape, etc make all your shots delicate works of art.
And re the drought and rain in Texas...we have to remember (up here in the frigid north) that "Texas" isn't just "one state": It's a freakin' continent. It's amazing how big your state is. So the fact that you could have so many types of weather is no shock to those of us who live in the 'smaller' states. You guys also have an astonishing variety of nature under one roof. And all those cities. That's one big state you live in...
