I am a digital artist who loves to dabble and try everything. Digital art has brought me a lot of peace after I came back from Iraq. I am a disabled veteran and mom of a beautiful red headed child who means the world to me. At the moment I am in the process of teaching her what I know about the digital art world. I believe she will be following in my footsteps. I crave to try new digital art techniques and perfecting what I already know. I also love helping others so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me!

I'm glad I don't know her. She looks cranky....beautifully done!

Absolutely beautiful!
I'm curious: what rendering engine was this? And is that great depth-of-field-like effect (especially on the tail coming over the shoulder) done in the render or in post?

Thank you so much. The render engine I used was Iray in Daz Studio 4.8. I rendered the image in color. Then the only editing I did was open the original color image in Photoshop, duplicated the image in a second layer, desaturated the color on the top layer, and used a soft round eraser to delete the desaturated layer from the lips and eyes. I did turn on depth of field on the camera settings in Daz Studio. The entire render time (I don't have a nividia card yet) took about 6 hours on the original image.
