the poetry of juxtaposition: You're masterful at this. This image has visual strangers, what Shakespeare called "strange bedfellows" (The Tempest)...you saw them, you "framed" them with your eye, you presented them as a single statement, and it's marvelous. I agree with Denise's "superb sense of image". Superb mise en scène. I love the juxtaposition of that scratched, frantic doodling, with the plain and beautifully-hued window frames, with the advert for a string quartet, which will play in Amiens, of all places---what a juxtaposition with this tortured graffiti...unassuming and brilliant work, Paul.
