Description

Mia ! It just so happened Pet Value was having a "Pet Adoption" going on Nov. 7 when we went there to buy some cat litter. Needless to say this little cutie caught Jim off guard and---- you can guess the rest of the story. It was a slow process introducing her to Bear ( 14) and Sassy (13).. Mia was out of her cave=== a room of her own for short periods and then put back for the night. She was not as welcomed by her siblings as we had hoped for. Needless to say she got a small dish of warm milk, a warm bed and lots of attention from Jim before she fell asleep. Moving forward she has been with us for a month now. The other cats will tolerate her, share some food and let her lay beside them on the bed. Mia has become quite acquainted with her forever home. Jim put up the Christmas Tree just for her, as we haven't made this a practice for many years. She gets to charge the tree, bat at the baubbles and toss them on the floor to boot. They are unbreakable and we just get a kick out of her having so much fun. The pics. were taken the day she had to go to the Vet for her second shots. The lid of the kennel opens so when she got a chance she would bop her head out hoping to escape, while we were trying to make her feel comfortable. You can see my hand trying to ease her back inside after the pics. were taken. We welcome her and love her to no end.

I can easily see why Jim was taken by her! I'd be holding her forever and a day if she'd let me....

Glenda, she looks adorable. Its always a challenge introducing a new family member to the others. So glad all is doing well. Love how she got Jim on her side after such a short time. How can people not love & enjoy animals in their lives they miss so much. Look forward to watching little Mia grow up. xx

Oh, my - how could I have missed this beautiful bundle of joy - I just want to hug it and never let it go ... can I have a loan of Mia, just for a minute, please ? Why am I not surprised, that your husband made such a quick decision ! well, after all - you already have two others and it will be good company for both of them and have someone else to annoy LOL

She is so cute and no wonder Jim was smitten. They have a way of worming there way into our hearts don't they. She is very lucky to go to such a great home and I'm sure she loves the Christmas tree.
