Description
In the last few days, some of my comments have disappeared.
I looked back at an image that I'd comment on, to see if a friend had seen it; and boom: My comment was gone. Poof. So I checked a few others, and 2 other comments had disappeared too. So this makes me wonder: Are lots of them going away?
I always check my comments to be sure they posted---and they always have. Which means the 'disappeared' ones have been eaten up by the system! And it struck me, maybe it's happened to some of you too. I hope not!
(I wrote to RR about it.)
So: Just know I comment on every image in my ebots/notifications. (The only exceptions are very long fiction, which I comment on less often, only---and I mean only---because it takes me a lonnnnng time to comment on long fiction. But I comment at length when I do...) However, I comment on images regularly when I'm on RR. So I hope you've gotten all of them, because I put time into them, and I really do care about your work...
Why this drawing?
I wanted to do a "Keep on Truckin'" image. Ie, we should keep on creating, no matter what. (The master of "truckin'" images was R. Crumb: This is NOT R. Crumb! But this guy's movin' along, not stopping for anyone...So I figured he's the right guy to post.)
Hope it's solved soon!
Have a good day, all!
Mark
(Here's the classic R. Crumb image...)

I will mention the disappearing comments to admin as well. If you have a specific list of pages comments disappeared from, that might help them track down the problem. I appreciate your detailed comments and look forward to them, I would hate to lose some. This image above is cool. I like this guy, he's just trudging along, no worries.

HEHE! One of your many fun and creative cartoons. I have always loved them, because they were created with great humor and I am sure, also with slot of pleasure. :) I honestly done know if my comments disappeared, because i rarely go back and check on it. I certainly hope not, as I also replied og ALL of my ebots.

Maybe this is the guy who is taking your comments...I love his apparent sense of urgency and gotta-get-thereness...I wonder if my comments are disappearing too? I never have gone back to check, that would be disturbing to learn. I hope they sort the issue. Love your sketches, Mark, you have real talent in all things artistic!

I like your keep on truckin' and creatin' guy. He's got a lot of personality. What a shame your comments are disappearing, especially since you put so much into each and every comment you give to others. I always copy any comments you make on my art, because they are so special and I don't want to lose any of them. I do hope this gets resolved and your comments return.

I always check as I post, but then not again, so I have no idea. I do like this person, (and also Crumb!)

Just to show you how behind the times Florida is, I found an iron on decal for "Mr. Natural-Just Passing Through" at a Coco Beach Walgreens in 1995. Same pose as "Keep on Truckin". I still have that t-shirt. This guy should be on a shirt or a poster. So few lines, such great results. I second Denise's opinion.

he's so cute just moseying along... maybe he's lookin' for the lost comments.

I remember those 'Keep on Truckin'' posters. This is fun and delightful, and a great way to encourage folks (like me) not to give up. After all, it wouldn't be Rendo if everything actually worked, would it? :-P
I haven't gone back and checked my comments recently, but maybe that explains why a lot of folks that used to comment on my posts don't anymore - even if I still comment on theirs. Oh, well.... Onward and upward! Keep 'em coming, Mark!

This reminds me of the little guy who used to sweep up after the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.
