Description

New Babylonia Command Center. “Heard you went to Tallulah Town,” Chief Engineer Cain said. “How was it?” Demeter sighed. “Truth be told, Chief: depressing. I mean, at least Dwellers can make some use out of it still, but I remember it high against the blue sky when I was a child. Now it's some twenty, thirty feet completely under, taking on more rust.” “You can blame poor city management, an unstable seabed, and a war with Guillemot for that. Not so much with the rising sea.” “So you don't think the same will happen to Babylon?” Cain bit his lip. “Who can say, Demeter? The Mayor and his staff have smarter heads at least, so poor management won't do it. So far Guillemot isn’t interested in expanding their empire, so we don’t have to worry about a war. For now, anyway. “On the other hand, the seabed and the chance of the seas rising some more are still factors, both of which are out of any Earther’s hands.” “So even with you, Kalpana, and those robots working 24-7 we’re still on borrowed time?” Cain raised an eyebrow. “Demeter, since when have any of us not been living on borrowed time?” ***** Sorry for the image dump tonight. Needed to make sure my laptop is working right. Last night a roach crawled on the screen, and in a panic I disconnected the power WHILE Daz Studio was still loading a huge file. The laptop went into sleep mode, and I was afraid that I corrupted some DAZ file that would prevent me from rendering (happened a few years ago when I was trying to stop tdlmake when DAZ was loading, thinking it was a virus). Long story short, it (and DAZ Studio) seems to be fine. Let's just hope I don't have real life bugs creeping around in it! This will be my last New Babylon pic for a while. I need to work on holiday art. **** Credits: Joshua Cain based on Michael 3; Demeter based on Victoria 3; Tiffany based on Aiko 3: © DAZ Dystopian Worker Drone © Team Dystopia (Billy Home, Deci6el, Moebius87) Cain's texture © DAZ, Mutedbanshee Demeter's texture © LuLeLuna & PureEnergy Tiffany's texture © DAZ Hair © DAZ; Mylochka Clothing © DAZ Shard second skin © Davorama Base poses © DAZ, Team Dystopia Odysseon Station © Nightshift3D Art © Wesley Brown December 10, 2015
