it's so nice to see you post again, Barb! (And thank you for your comments too, you always put your heart and eye into your comments...it must be difficult to come back to so many images and have to pick and choose---I did that for months, so I know it's a tough choice...I appreciate every comment you leave.) I like both sides of this big chunk, either a large strange building, or a chunk of cheese with some major holes in it, or a piece of metal that has many secret powers, or whatever one wishes to see. Each 'opening' is framed by purples, and your light is varied on the 'day' side (realistic lighting). And the top and bottom---I just love its grainy texture, and the feeling of being brushed over with a metal brush. Absolutely concrete and real while being a fractal---you do these types of visceral corpulent fractals so well, Barb...this is beautiful. (And it feels like we're viewing it inside a very intense room. You know this magritte image---link below? It has that same "inside an intense chamber" feeling to it...) Beautiful work once more.
