Description

Miss Truly is jumping for joy as she has passed her Kennel Club Good Citizens Gold test. She was such a good girl. She was the only one on that night taking the gold. She had to do a 2 min stay, I had to go out of sight for part of it. She was good & stayed. There was also a separation test where I had to leave her tied up in the room . She was a good girl & didn't mind being left. There is an exercise thats called send your dog to bed. Basically as I don't send them to bed, I put a mat down at the other end of the room & taught her to leave me & go off & sit on the mat. She was good. The others were quite basic, like, food refusal, I put some food in front of her & she hadn't to touch it until I said. I had to check her over, ears, feet, eyes, teeth etc. We had to go for a walk down the street & she had to behave. The stop, I had to call her & then I had to stop her in mid flight before she got to me. There was a recall, where I had to call her to the side of me instead of in front. The worst one was the questions. i was asked various questions on dog control & welfare, They are all ones dog owners should know & I do know them but when put under pressure my mind goes blank but I didn't let Truly down & I answered them. She did all the hard work bless her. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx
