Description
At the left side of this image, Google fiber optic cables (miles) are being "inserted" into ten inch plastic conduits, fifteen feet under ground.
I had seen television mention of this coming phenomenon, but had no idea of the complexity... amazing !

An interesting shot of this procedure. I've driven by sites like this and seen them inserting cable into a hole in the ground and wondered how they managed to get the cable through the conduits.

I clicked a pic of a few pieces of the conduit pipe, and didn't realize that it's walls are about 2 inches thick.
